The structural flexibility of the polyurethane material allows the UHS seal to be easily deformed for installation into closed housings without the risk of permanent stress whitening or lip distortion. To ensure maximum service life, components must be completely deburred, and leading-edge chamfers must be implemented on the rod or cylinder bore.
