Our standard TG4 seals utilize high-grade Nitrile Butadiene NBR, which exhibits excellent resistance to petroleum-based oils, hydraulic fluids, and grease within a broad thermal window. For extreme-temperature applications or aggressive chemical media, we offer custom formulations in FKM. NBR provides a highly cost-effective, low-friction interface with excellent wear resistance, whereas FKM should be selected when operating temperatures exceed standard thresholds or when synthetic lubricants threaten polymer degradation.

The elastomer-covered OD of the TG4 design significantly reduces the press-fit force required during installation, eliminating the risk of damaging costly housing bores made of softer alloys like aluminum.
