FKM, in particular, provides superior elasticity recovery and thermal degradation resistance, ensuring the seal maintains its memory and contact force even after thousands of hours of operation. Our materials are rigorously tested to resist compression set, which is the primary cause of premature leakage in high-velocity rotary components.

Proper seating is essential to maximize the lifespan of the 45*68*12 seal. We recommend a press-fit installation using a mandrel that ensures the seal remains perfectly perpendicular to the shaft axis, preventing uneven lip wear. During installation, always pre-lubricate the sealing lip with the system-compatible fluid to prevent initial dry-start scorching. Because our TBV design utilizes high-grade synthetic elastomers, it offers a “fit-and-forget” maintenance cycle; however, we advise periodic inspection of the shaft surface for scoring, as any micro-abrasions will compromise the seal’s hydrodynamic barrier efficiency.
