The CFKS 45*62*19 Multi-Lip NBR Combi Seal is a heavy-duty rotary boundary component engineered specifically for the brutal, high-contamination environments of agricultural wheel hubs, tractor axles, and heavy tillage equipment. By integrating a primary hydrodynamic oil lip with a massive, multi-stage dirt deflection labyrinth into a single, ultra-deep 19mm housing, this combined seal provides absolute isolation for expensive drivetrain bearings.

The core strength of this seal lies in its massive 19mm depth. This extended profile allows for a primary, spring-energized inner lip that strictly retains differential oil or wheel hub grease. Ahead of this hydrodynamic boundary, the seal features an integrated, heavy-duty “buffer” lip system that rests directly against the 45mm rotating spindle. This outer excluder acts as a physical plow. Any microscopic grit or water that manages to bypass the primary plow is captured within a grease-filled intermediate cavity, forming an impenetrable labyrinth seal that totally isolates the hub internals from environmental destruction.

 

Agricultural wheel hubs and axles operate under severe load shock and intense low-frequency vibration, but generally operate at lower speeds than automotive components. To ensure maximum longevity and cost-effectiveness, the dynamic internal sealing elements of this Combi seal are injection-molded from a highly cross-linked, high-density Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR).

This grease packing is absolutely mandatory. It provides vital boundary lubrication to prevent the massive outer dirt excluder lips from burning up due to dry friction during initial road transport. Furthermore, it establishes a secondary hydrostatic barrier against water ingress. Technicians must also rigorously inspect the 45mm spindle or axle shaft; it must be polished to a surface finish of 0.2 to 0.4 μm Ra. If the previous seal cut a wear groove into the steel, a stainless steel speed sleeve must be installed over the 45mm shaft before pressing in the new CFKS Combi seal.
