For standard hydraulic applications, we utilize high-grade NBR for its excellent oil resistance and elasticity. For high-temperature or aggressive chemical environments, our seals are available in FKM, which provides superior thermal stability and resistance to degradation. These materials are processed using precision vulcanization to ensure low compression set, meaning the seal retains its structural memory and sealing efficiency over thousands of operating hours.

Achieving a leak-free seal requires precision during the installation phase. Our TBV seals are designed for ease of handling; the flexible outer casing allows for interference-fit installation without the need for complex, specialized tooling or heavy-duty presses. During maintenance, these seals offer excellent “run-in” characteristics, reducing the time required for the lip to seat against the shaft. To ensure maximum service life, we recommend ensuring the shaft surface finish is polished to industry standards and that the sealing lip is lightly lubricated with compatible system fluid before initial startup.
