In the aggressive chemical environment of a washing machine, standard elastomers rapidly degrade due to continuous exposure to high-pH surfactants, bleach, and hot water. To guarantee long-term reliability, our 37*72*12/14.5mm seals are injection-molded from a highly cross-linked, high-density Waterproof Nitrile (NBR) compound. This specialized elastomeric matrix strictly resists hydrolysis in hot aqueous solutions up to 90°C. It is engineered specifically to withstand the chemical softening and structural swelling that destroy lesser industrial rubbers, dramatically extending the Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of the appliance’s drivetrain.

From an appliance repair perspective, a failed tub seal is the direct cause of catastrophic bearing failure. When installing this stepped 37*72*12/14.5mm replacement, technicians must rigorously inspect the stainless steel spider arm shaft. The 37mm sealing surface must be perfectly smooth and polished to a 0.2 to 0.4 μm Ra finish; any grooving or hard-water calcium buildup will act as a microscopic file, rapidly shredding the new triple-lip profile.
