Washing machine seals operate in a highly reactive chemical bath, constantly subjected to harsh surfactants, fluctuating water temperatures, and continuous mechanical vibration. To ensure long-term reliability, our 35*75.55*10/12mm seals are injection-molded from a customized, high-density Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) specifically optimized for aqueous environments. This specialized matrix strictly resists hydrolysis in hot water up to 90°C and is virtually immune to the chemical softening and structural swelling that standard industrial rubbers experience when continuously exposed to commercial laundry chemicals.

From an appliance repair standpoint, the unique “10/12” stepped-width design requires precise installation. The rigid 10mm main body presses securely into the highly specific 75.55mm tub bore, while the 12mm extended flange projects outward to act as an initial slinger against pooling water. Before installation, technicians must meticulously inspect the stainless steel spider arm shaft. The sealing surface must be perfectly smooth and polished to a 0.2 to 0.4 μm Ra finish. Crucially, the internal cavities between all three lips must be heavily packed with a dedicated waterproof lithium or marine-grade silicone grease to provide essential boundary lubrication and prevent destructive “dry-rub” friction during the machine’s initial agitation cycles.
