Washing machine seals operate continuously in a highly reactive chemical bath, exposed to harsh surfactants, fabric softeners, and fluctuating water temperatures. To guarantee long-term reliability and prevent premature bearing failure, our 25*50.75*10/12mm seals are injection-molded from a customized, high-density Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR). This optimized elastomer maintains its flexible memory in hot aqueous solutions up to 90°C. Crucially, it actively resists the chemical softening and structural swelling that standard industrial rubbers experience when subjected to commercial laundry chemicals, preventing the localized friction and lip hardening that cause catastrophic tub leaks.

From an appliance repair standpoint, a compromised tub seal is the direct root cause of seized drum bearings. When installing this highly specific replacement seal, technicians must meticulously inspect the stainless steel spider arm shaft. The 25mm sealing surface must be perfectly smooth and polished to a 0.2 to 0.4 μm Ra surface finish; any microscopic grooving or hard-water calcium buildup will act as a rotary file, rapidly shredding the new NBR lips. Before pressing the seal squarely into the 50.75mm tub hub, it is absolutely critical to heavily pack the internal cavities between all three lips with a dedicated waterproof lithium complex or marine-grade silicone grease. This establishes essential boundary lubrication, preventing destructive dry-rub friction during the machine’s initial dry agitation cycles.
