Standard Nitrile (NBR) rubber rapidly suffers from ozone cracking and hydrolysis under these harsh conditions. Our seal kits are injection-molded from a highly cross-linked Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM). This specialized waterproof elastomer provides unparalleled resistance to environmental weathering and maintains its elastic memory in hot aqueous media up to 150°C. The robust 5.9mm profile of this EPDM seal allows for a straightforward, snap-in installation without the need for complex hydraulic presses. However, strict adherence to EPDM compatibility is mandatory.
