Hydraulic pump seals must endure extreme localized friction and highly aggressive synthetic fluids. Standard Nitrile (NBR) rubber rapidly vulcanizes, hardens, and cracks when subjected to the sheer heat generated by high-RPM hydraulic shafts under pressure. Our customized TCV seals are injection-molded from premium Fluoroelastomer (FKM). This advanced polymer matrix is chemically immune to standard hydraulic oils, phosphate esters, and synthetic lubricants. By actively resisting “compression set” at severe operating temperatures, the FKM material prevents the localized cavitation and thermal hardening that routinely destroy lesser seals, dramatically extending your pump’s Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).

From a maintenance engineering perspective, proper installation of a pressure-resistant seal is non-negotiable. Because the 31.75*44.45*6.35mm seal operates under high hydraulic force, the receiving housing must be perfectly clean to ensure the rubber-coated outer diameter can create a flawless static pressure lock. The mating shaft must be polished to a stringent surface finish of 0.2 to 0.4 μm Ra. Furthermore, the dynamic FKM lip must be thoroughly pre-lubricated with the system’s exact hydraulic fluid prior to assembly. Running a TCV seal dry, even for a few seconds during the initial pump priming sequence, will cause immediate, irreversible thermal damage to the FKM lip.
